PUSHBACKS ON THE BALKAN ROUTE (doc. film, Samer Arkawi, 15 min)

The short documentary reveals the development of practices of illegal pushbacks from Slovenia to Croatia, which began in large numbers in the spring of 2018. The film draws attention to Slovenia's responsibility for violent and cruel practices of police officials of the states on the Balkan route. The film was made by Samer Arkawi, a student of the master's program in political science at FDV, who is the author of the documentary Without Home (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jlx25Ezaj3I&t=1379s).
