On 30 October 2025, an issue-raising meeting was held at the Info Office community space in Ljubljana. It brought together members of migrant communities, primarily asylum seekers, and Denis Striković, a Ljubljana city councillor representing the opposition Vesna – Green Party and a member of the Committees on International Relations and the Environment. The meeting focused on the everyday realities of migrants living in the city and the challenges they face.

Fronta za skupno dobro (FSD) je 13. junija 2025 sklicala shod proti nasilju, sužnjelastništvu in razkroju javnega dobrega pred Azilnim centrom Vič v Ljubljani kot odziv na medijsko odmevno nasilje varnostnih služb nad prosilci za mednarodno zaščito ter trpinčenje tujih delavcev s strani delodajalcev.

Civilna iniciativa Infokolpa je za shod pripravila pismo podpore prosilcem za azil z desetimi zahtevami za izboljšanje njihovih bivalnih in integracijskih pogojev.

The Slovenian Language Club, established in 2025 by the Intercultural Dialogue Society (MKD) in Ljubljana, focuses on practising spoken Slovenian in a group setting, with separate groups for A1 and A2/B1 language levels.

In May 2025, as part of the EMV-LII project, participants at different comprehension levels practised vocabulary related to key inclusion topics, such as the labour and housing markets and procedures at administrative units.

On June 26, 2025, an event was held to discuss recent amendments to Slovenia's Foreigners Act. A key change relevant to asylum seekers is the new provision allowing them to obtain a single work and residence permit.

Under certain conditions, this enables individuals to transition from seeking international protection to becoming migrant workers. This represents a major legislative shift in Slovenia, one that promises to stabilise and improve the lives of many migrants.

On May 8, 2025, KDG hosted a musical afternoon focused on the intersections of art and advocacy. The guests, rapper Mohammed Jadallah and singer-comedian Ali R. Taha, addressed issues related to the Palestinian cause. They also addressed the lives of migrants and refugees through music and humour.

On April 17, 2025, the Info Office migrant community, in collaboration with The Journal for the Critique of Science (ČKZ), discussed local frameworks for adequate housing in Slovenia, with a specific focus on migrants' housing conditions.

Infokolpa je v sodelovanju s ČKZ pripravila 293. številko revije. Zbrana dvojezična besedila so izšla iz aktivnosti kolektiva Infokolpa preteklih nekaj let. Obravnavajo izseke z balkanske migracijske poti, ki se razteza čez Balkanski polotok, obenem pa naslavljajo izzive inkluzije v Sloveniji in preiskujejo razmere v državi izvora za mnoge prosilce za azil, v Maroku.

On April 10 2025, Samer Arkawi hosted an assembly at the Info Office, bringing together members of the local migrant community to discuss the upcoming European Pact on Migration and Asylum, which is set to take effect in 2026.

Boj proti diskriminaciji, neenaki obravnavi, spodbujanje socialne pravičnosti in inkluzija so ključne vrednote demokratične družbe. Kljub obstoječim pravnim osnovam za preprečevanje diskriminacije pa je obseg drugačne obravnave manjšinskih skupin v Sloveniji zelo problematičen (Bajt, Frank, Jalušič, & Ladić, 2023).
